90si 1-Line Dual-Mode Configuration

The 1-Line Dual-Mode configuration is for use when the connected Commercial Fax Machine is to be used Primarily as a Secure fax and as a Secondary Non-Secure fax. An operator must be present to receive a non-secure fax.

Operation:
All calls to Line 1 ring into the secure telephone. Non-secure fax calls are placed on the fax. Secure fax calls are placed on the Secure Telephone. To receive a non-secure fax, answer the STU and then depress the "*" key on the STU twice (**). The fax will then be received.

90si Setup:
Place the 90si in "1 Tel Line" and "Dual Mode On." with switch # 6 and # 7 to the right...as shown in the switch diagram to the right of the drawing below.

Note: On new units the black square represents the side of the switch that is "Pushed Down." On older units slide the switch to the side with the black square.

Switch Help.
General Notes:
1. Some 90si do not have switches 8-10 showing.
2. Keep switches 4, 8, 9 & 10 to the right.
3. Keep switches 2 and 3 to the Left for "Handshake" and "FEC Off."
4. If you can't transmit to the far end, try again after changing switch 1.
